Who makes the best 3 poster bull bar?

hello everyone,
i hit other roo this morning. the third one in a year. so now i want to put bull bar on my ute. i have no idea where to get one or who makes the best 3 poster bull ball for a au ute. i would get a 5 posters but i through i might as well get a three poster to keep the blokes in blue happy.

the one on my crewman is made by irvin bullbars and is air bag compatable and legal and still looks good.

sorry to say bricky you can get a yellow sticker for the bar u got on ur ute cos i got a yellow for the same bar on my ute and its like urs but with mesh on it

hey peta go to northam arb they do a 3 posta from tuff bars in qld and thye will bak u in court if u get stickered

A mate got himself a VS SS commodore and put those shoo-roo things on it, couple weeks later he hit a roo... short of completly avoiding driving at all a decent bullbar is the only way to protect yourself. good luck finding one.

I don't know much about the 3 posters, but I do know that Tuff Bullbars make a top quality, strong product.

I am sorry to say that this is wrong information. I have today checked on the laws and written regulations from the DMV. This is a copy of the regs off their website.

Bull bars

Bull bars are acceptable equipment provided they meet the following requirements :

A bar is to be adequately bolted to a main member or member bracket (e.g.. chassis rail or sub frame). Attachment by welding is only permitted if the structural integrity of the sub frame is not adversely effected.
It must be constructed of tubular section material and in such a manner that there are no narrow, sharp or protruding sections or jagged edges likely to increase the risk of bodily injury to a person
It must not obstruct the light path of any forward facing lamps
The bar must not project more than 300 mm forward of the vehicle’s head lamps, except where the construction of the vehicle makes this impractical
Licensing Services reserves the right to withdraw or amend the guidelines for modifications in this section. It should be understood that approval to carry out these modifications is conditional upon the owner using the vehicle in a safe and sensible manner.
Should any vehicle owner demonstrate irresponsible or consistently bad driving, Licensing Services may require that owner to return the vehicle to standard.

The last paragraph says it all. Thats the law as it stands at the moment.

we're not disputing whether these bars should be illegal or not, the fact is alot of people have been gettin stickered for them. it doesnt matter whether the cop is right or wrong slapping a canary on your windscreen you still have to take it to the DMV and get it taken off which is usually a pain in the arse...peta asked which one is best. personally if people around me are geting stickered for a particular bar, im going to save myself the hassels and look elsewhere.

yeah stace.. i dont really want one but i keep hitting roos.. my insurance keeps going up!! thats why i was asking who makes the best 3 posters.
