Now that's service for you, most of the suppliers don't want to know anything about it if you get stickered, some in Victoria go so far to say that you didn't buy it from them. I've been looking at some of these 3 posters you have over there and they just look crap, but Smarty's looks tops!

nah mate, it's not the police, it's the DPI that banned them, and with help from myself and lonewolf by providing them with an example that failed, those bars are absolutely unroadworthy, and need to be taken off the road!

crap! it would be ok if the cops here actually knew what they were talking about and were all reading off the same page ....one cops pulls you over and says you have a week to get your bull bar off or the canary goes on ... so you take it off and the next cop pull you over and ask's "wheres your bull bar gone you should put it back on!" lets all give the police a nice round of applause

Thats what it comes down to. Consistancy. The cops are given a list of laws to enforce, some go easy on us and other decide to chuck their own in occasionally just to piss us off. Its good the ARB bloke said hell stand by their bar, really they all should have too. but give at a couple months and the laws will change again banning anything bigger then a paperclip i imagine.

No, Phil Irvin, he sold the company, and started up truck-a-bar, irvin went downhill from there, At least truck-a-bar, still sells quality bars

yeah well for the DPI thay wouldnt knw if there a** was on fire unless some one told them one guy go's right over ur car and thay give u a work order and then u take it back and with most of the stuff still on u get a different bloke and he pass it so go figer the police and DPI are so shit thay wouldnt knw what each other are doing and i got the paper here thay gave me about bull bars and the 3post fits right in there there isnt nothing wrong with it

and for mine it will stay on there till i get another sticker then it will be back off to get the sticker off then going straight back on

If the Feral 3 post sold by Irvin Bullbars is inferior and badly designed to be a safety hazard why aren't Irvins being forced to do a recall or at least fix up the bars that they sold so they are better quality.

I have one on my ute and am now concerned that it may not do the job it is intended to if I hit a roo or anything else

OLLY you do not know what you talking about, if they was not built right then why have i seen one hit a 4x4 and not break and it stopped excess damage to the ute, they do use high tensien bolts and was design to state regaulation at the time its not they fault that WA laws keep changing like a dirty pair of underware and the only problem irvin bars are apprently it doesnt's follow the contour of the front of the ute enough. 5 poster bullbars are straight out inlegall same as 4 post bars all depends on the design, so instead of bagging out Irvin bars lets just get WA to sort out the laws. Thats just my opinion anyway.
