Re: kingwoods holdens

personally, i believe you should go with the V8 they are far more reliable than that abomination of a motor, the 202..... even a 308, when installed in a ute that weighs in at 1700 kilos, will be no faster than a bloody vn commodore, so yeah go the V8, if ya dont want to be stranded constantly due to, blown holes in number 1 or 5 piston, stripped cam gears, stripped timing gears, etc etc. And the price bracket you are looking at, you will get a very nice ute, if ya stay smart and dont fall in love with the first ute you see

What i mean and im sure others mean is huge V8's like a 327-350 plus, a 253 will do no damage but over here in NSW the laws say no turbo, supercharged or v8 vehicles for P platers.

Re: kingwoods holdens

its not that they're a handful, its the temptation to drive them stupidly and not know their limits. put a fresh p-plater in a v8 and they luv to rev and go nuts...and they have more torque than a 6. its just experience and the right attitude. im 20 and can drive a semi, but it took experience. if i had jumped in one and driven id have killed myself. its just knowing ur limits and bein careful. also, kingswoods dont crumple like commodores.
