WA government SHAME...

flicking through the paper last week, I happened to spot an interesting looking full page colour add...

it shows Donna's (freedom Road) VS with a huge 5 poster sitting out the front of the cuballing tavern...

No this add was not for drink driving, not for bullbars... Its the WA government, tourism boards new advertising campaign...

HOW DARE THEY ban our bullbars then promote them to tourists as a tourist attraction.

the add reads something along the lines of, come and visit a WA country pub and see our Fantastic Rural utes (something along those lines)

I WAS BLOODY FURIOUS AFTER SEEING THAT, however then i thought to myself, 5 posters must be good for tourism, so i guess the government wont complain now that I AM PUTTING MINE BACK ON!!!

Interseting Olly, as far as I know Donna doesn't have the 5 poster on anymore after it was stickered some time ago

isnt it typical of any government to do stuff like that. hope you kept the news paper artical. and make sure you all have a copy to stick in their faces should the need arise

Hey i'm up in Port Heldand and a few boys up here are runnin' 5 posters again,one of the coppers in charge said to a mate of mine with a hopperknocker on a HZ.
"Neither the state government nor the W.A Police or Licencing are willing to supply financial compensation for the bullbars so i'm not telling my blokes to give roadworthy stickers for 5 post bullbars".
It's good to see a real person in the ranks somewhere.
