Just ignore them. Works for me.
We know they work, we know they do the job, thats all that matters really.
I have a bullbar, they have their spoilers. I don't go around bagging them out, so why should they have a go at me about my bar?

The people who tend to say this sort of stuff are the ones who never get out of the city so therefore have no use whats so ever for a bull bar and because of this think that there is no need for anyone else to have one. But at the same token it is also these people who when they go out and buy their "Toorack Tractors" are the first to jump on the band wagon (so to say) and claim that everyone has the right to fit a bull bar to their car/ute/4WD...... funny how these people think!

and the debate rages on, well i also am an advocate of the bullbar, i know first hand the damage that can be done, the little old subaru, nearly got wiped out and the 3 of us in the car at the time (me, rousy, and ashleigh) could have been killed, simply because i could not have the bar of my choice on this vehicle.
the sheer plague proportions of roos moving closer and closer to the city is disturbing, as a simple trip down ashendon road, or even mundaring weir road, can prove, i am just waiting for my plastic fantastic VP commodore to be detroyed on ashendon road, a dirt road i use everyday, and average about 10 roos on every trip jumping out in front of me, so yeah one of those poxy bloody alloy roo bars would be good for F&^k all around here. anyway bring it on i say, i rekon more and more of us should simply defy the rules, coz whats more important to you, the safety of your family and occupants in your vehicle, or a F$%king yellow sticker!!!!!

Heard on the ABC just before7 this morn that the coroner investigating the truck/pedestrian accident from 8yrs ago or something, said that the man likely wouldn't have been killed by the impact of plastic 'bullbar'.

What a bloody crock I reckon. I don't think too many people would survive stepping out infront of even a 5t truck doing 70+km whether it had a bar of not. Surely internal and head injuries would play the main roll in fatalities.

and the whole thing that annoys me two isthe police, and the gov. goes on about utes and bullbars, what about these fords, commodore, rice cookers, chook cookers that get around the streets drag racing, doing burn outs in the towns putting everyones lives at risk, and us ute owners well they want to ban(bull bars, B&S's and everything else) and where out in a controlled enviroment

I Stepped out on to a pedestrian crossing near home last weekend and nearly got cleaned up by a Nissan Micra[no Bullbar] of course; but the little idiot was speeding and doesn't give a toss about pedestrians. I've nearly been wiped a few times on that crossing; and I don't just step out and expect the vehicles to come to a screaming halt; and you guessed it 9 out of 10 of the nearest misses a city cars with no bull bars.
