Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Bullbar/4WD Protesters Protesters of bullbars and 4wd's really piss me off. An example of this would be yesterday, i parked at my local shopping centre to go to the shops as you do, when this guy starts walking over to my car, at this stage i didn't think anything off it as i thought he parked next to me. When i emerged back out of the shopping centre i walk up to my car and find a huge piece of paper along with a small one on my drivers window that stated "BULLshitBARS 4windful BULLYCARS Damage" Really, what an idiot, obviously he does not drive in outback australia. So what if i drive a 4Wd it's my choice and my driving skills are fine. I would rather drive a 4wd compared to some rice bubble car. Well now that i have that out there, has anyone else encounted this type of thing before? |

| Re: Bullbar/4WD Protesters we should shouve bigger bullbars on our utes/4x4's just to piss em off even more!!! when we hit a roo at 120 km/h in mudgee the car was almost written off, if it had a bullbar hardly any damage wouldve been done . . .

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Bullbar/4WD Protesters Some people just dont seem to get it do they? These collins street cockies put a plastic bull bar on their range rover and drive around toorak and the cbd wouldn't know what a kangaroo looks like and the only time they've been off road is out the back of melbourne city land rover on the test track and they've never been out of the suburbs. As soon as someone who lives in the country who drives a vehicle with a steel or aluminium bullbar turns up in the big smoke the shit hits the fan. They continuously whinge and moan that the bullbar is unnessecary as they harm pedestrians. No one ever thinks of the consequences when a southern grey jumps out on the black stuff when you're cruising at 110km/h do they? So if a pedesrian gets hit at 65km/h in a 60 zone they get a broken leg, if the get hit at 60 km/h they only get a bruised leg. Would someone please tell me what happens if they used their brain and looked before crossing the road? They wouldn't have any injuries at all and they would probably be thinking something along the lines of "Gee, i'm glad i seen that car coming. I might have got hit if i didn't look". But for some reason all the dickheads out there who cross roads without looking can't seem to find it within themselves to admit that it's their own fault. What ever happened to taking responsibility for your own actions? When I was in primary school I was taught how to cross a road, using appropriate crossings and to stop, look and listen. Don't they teach kids that in the city? Maybe not... We'll keep our cow shit in the country if you keep your bullshit in the city!

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Bullbar/4WD Protesters Yeah i know guys thanks for the feed back, scrubber runner i totally agree with you. Another thing that pissed me off is that there was other 4WD's next to me with bull bars and yet mine was the only one to get targeted, i reckon that the guy who did it just had something against country people. I would like to see him drive out the back of Quilpie in his little ford fiesta or whatever rice bubble car he was driving and hit a roo, then we would see him change his mind pretty quickly. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Bullbar/4WD Protesters Certainly would wouldn't he. I think as soon as a lot of people see a long horn sticker or a b&s sticker they automatically think the ute belongs to a useless drunken country bum, just because you don't work in an office on the 7th floor of a high rise building they think your useless. What they need to think about is who bred the animal that the roast they had for tea last night come from, and who drove the truck to the bmw dealer with their car on it, certainly not a city slicker hey. Someone had to shear the sheep to get the wool for their suit they wear to work every day and another person had to milk the cow to get the milk for their cuppacino's. Seems as though these city folk have their minds limited to the suburbs and themselves. A bullbar in the bush is worth more than a pedestrian in the city.

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Bullbar/4WD Protesters Thanks Rabsy. I made a vow to the moon and stars that i will stand up and hold my ground for what i believe in and thats what i'm doing. I get all sorts of looks from people in Melbourne when i go too and from the fire brigade workshop. Another thing that shits me about city folk is that they whinge about driving 5 kms from one suburb to another. How would they be driving 100kms every day to get to work and another 100kms to get home again like i do everyday. They might have an uncle mario who lives n a 1/2 acre farm on the outskirts that they go to visit once a month or so and they call that the country, pffft! It fairly tears me wide apart to see these fellas cry when they have to walk a mile or two to find a can of juice, or when their crome works getting tarnished or their hub caps coming loose. How would they be if they had to walk 20k's to get mobile phone signal? They're simply a different kind of people who have no idea... So many bullbars, so few line dancers...

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Bullbar/4WD Protesters I know its annoyes me too. With living in sydney i see it every day, death stares when your driving home, people laughing at things that are different. I have even had people take photos of my car when stopped at traffic lights, i just let it go cause if i didn't i would go insane. |
