VP Bullbars

gday all,

I've got a 92 VP ute and atm i've got a rollbar and stone deflectors. I really wanna put a 5 poster on it though. at a push i could probably afford a new one but i've seen a lot of second hand VS ones. just wondering how suitable a VS bar is on a VP. also, anyone heard of any major complications with having a heavier bar on a vp? I live near toowoomba, qld.

Cheers

Re: VP Bullbars

VS bars will bolt on to a VP no worries at all
my sister had a VS bar on her old ute fitted perfectly no mods at all
if you want a heavy bar i suggest you go and have a chat to a suspension mob but other then that there is no problems

Re: VP Bullbars

they'll fit, but the bar will be a little bit wider depending what style the bar is. vr/vs have wider and more rounded mudguards

Re: VP Bullbars

not by much and not that noticable, nothing more than 30mm each side, my mate has had 2 vs bars on his vp and you would have to be pretty fussy to pick it

Re: VP Bullbars

Ended up finding a tuff bullbars made for a vp at a wreckers, picked it up for 150. i'd imagine the brackets will be ****ed, but i don't think i'll have a problem knocking up some new ones.

Re: VP Bullbars

You got a dead set bargain. my mate got a bar off a written off vs that smacked a culvert with the lhs, gave the mounts a few whacks with the sledgy and replaced the end cap. All up a $280 platt bar including repairs

Re: VP Bullbars

to right. if its made of alloy, its gunna be pricey, to buy and repair unless you are in the know and have got connections
