Re: has your bullbar saved your life?

Just hit a smallish roo tonight just outta Coorow...nudge bar did bugger all...didnt even touch it - only smashed the spottie, headlight and curled the bonnet under...looking for suggestions on a decent bar for a VU , under a grand if possible...WA retailers.

well if you think with your head mate. do you go 50kms in the scrub?

i spend a lot of my time driving in the bush. there maybe quite a few people that argue this fact about bullbars and live in a metro area but ispend a lot of the time in the rural area.

i know wat smarty said but think about it mate thats an area that i had residence in doesnt mean i dont drive in the outback.

Read it properly and you may understand!!!

Re: has your bullbar saved your life?

Yeah bullbar has saved my life and my cousins, we were in his patrol that has a 4 poster, reasonable size doing about 80 chasin goats when all of a sudden a big red gum decided to be in the way. We didnt get hurt and the bar wasnt too bad afterwards.

Also when i was drivin home from work up bush hit a roo woulda stood about 6ft tall at about 90 in a nissan patrol with a small sorta 4poster if it hadnt have been there i mighta been in some shit, only a small dint luckily

Re: has your bullbar saved your life?

it makes a difference when you have it on cos if its built well it saves alot of money in repairs.

its saved me a heap when i had one on the old ute otherwise would have been seriously injured or worse.

its better than nothing

fair go sharpy! Why Do you have a need to attack anyone and everyone on this site, get your act together mate..

Get an Idea of what it is like here in WA before you go shooting your mouth off.. Hell it is getting to the point where you need a bullbar in the city, since they banned culling roos in the hills, they are coming down off the hill in search for food, the population is out o control!! Just last week I saw one squashed on the freeway. Furthermore people like Arky and plenty of others travel in the bush on a regular basis.

Re: Has your Bullbar Saved Your Life???

Olly bolly i with you all the way, are the goverment gunna pay for it without putting the insurence premiuns up as i see it bullbars save your car as well as your life wheather it be a dog or a big red Kangero, it makes no differents wheather your in the city or the country
Olly i ask this question are all bullars banned or are the big fancy 4wds still have them on, or is it just because where ute owners that we use them and all the things we have on our utes we use them as well.
