Mythbusters to prove Bullbar Theory

Gday all,

This post is for people that are interested that i have e-mailed mythbusters to prove the effects of a bullbar.

this is to prove how having a decent bullbar will save lives and how they should not be altered to different standards.

Thankyou so far to millsy from the uteshed who said he will be willing to donate his services in order to help the mythbusters prove this theory.

I have sent the message to them and in hope they will give us a positive return and come to the land of oz in perth to meet up with us and prove that they are important.

Hay Arky, Rustys utes up for sale. If the mythbusters say yes i think all members of Beaututes should get behind this to save our bullbars.

gotta agree millsy yeah i knew bout rustys ute getting the roll bar from it but i might have to see youbout a 5 poster mate not the altered crap though lol thanks agiain to be willing to volunteer some necessary equipment if needed to mate cant wait to catch up!!!

The situation is also worse in Queensland because of the number of vehicles fitted with knifelike fishing-rod holders attached to bullbars. “They're akin to putting four butcher's knives on the front of the car,” he says. “In four days, my wife and I counted more than 100 in and around Noosa.”

have you seen that new show 'brainiacs' -they're pommies but they might be able to do a few experiments too. basically i think the bottom line will be, if you're a pedestrian and you step out in front of a car, 1. you're a bloody idiot and 2. whether it's got a bar or not it's still gonna bloody hurt!
if you're driving, if you HAVE got a a bar and you hit skippy, skippy dies and you save your life and your ute. -if you HAVE NOT got a bar, skippy dies anyway, but so does the front end of your ute/car and you get skippy in your lap and if you're doing more than 80 then there's a good chance you'll die too.

Bottom line, bullbars protect drivers, passengers and vehicles, pedestrians who step out in front of a car deserve to get hit whether it's got a bar or not.
