Re: Post break-up purchases and spontaneous decisions

I was going to be breaking up with my ex (a Pom!) and decided that I had to give him a huge hint that I was staying in this country and not going back, enter my 1982 WB!! he hated it, probably because he knew what it meant, then when he left the country, I went and got my tattoo (was discussed but he didnt agree with them) and bought my VY SS, I decided that I was a single girl and if I wanted it I was going to get it!! Happy now!!

I went on a road trip to Mt Isa rodeo (I was living in Tassie at that stage LOL) and when I got home I brought a big beautiful digital camera because I was never allowed to use his ... best thing I ever did was leaving

Re: Post break-up purchases and spontaneous decisions

I was never allowed to get a bullbar for my Crewy so as soon as we broke up I started looking for one and ended up with 5 Poster a couple of weeks later!

Another time (different bloke) I took all the Melbourne Bitter stubbies he had left in my fridge, went for a little drive (did a few skids to loud music) and smashed each one by one on passing road signs. God that felt good!!

Re: Post break-up purchases and spontaneous decisions

I was a big spender when i left my ex - haha bought myself a new cd - Toby Keith. But listening to it i heard a line that put an idea in my head

"Do blondes really have more fun or are they just easier to spot in the dark?"

So i thought i'd better find out - went to the hairdresser, got my long brown hair cut short and bleached blonde (cost a fortune)

And guess what? Blondes really do have more fun (but i think it's only cos they're easier to spot in the dark)
