I agree with some of what you are saying Trashman but only some!!

I have seen people on this site you are going out so to speak and are declaring their love all over the internet and yet have never met one another.

I too think that it depends on the situation for each and every relationship.

I don't agree on the timeline. As I have been messed around in previous relationships about what constitutes being together when I met Dwayne and I really likes him I put myself out there and said so what's happening.

From the beginning we were in a relationship and while I have adored him since we first remet up after 14 years the love thing happened a bit slower - I'm a cautious gal. Our 6 month anniversary this Sunday!!!

haha geez everyone is getting fired up!
this is how i see it: some people you click with at first sight, some it takes a bit more time and others you dont click with at all. if you click at first sight it doesnt mean you love them just that there is interest there that purhaps is stronger with them than it is with others. get me? you may feel a stronger attraction to some than others and this is what ppl can get confused about and call it love. i believe you can feel a stronger attraction to someone at first sight than you would for others but as for love this comes later for me.

there is all kinds of love i think.. i have had love at first site.. which didnt last.. was great for a while.. but then turned to shit.. im scared to use the word now.. but there is also a type of love which becomes as u get to know a person better.. i think thats the way to go.. but everyone is defferent..

Seriously though love is something you grow into together, you need to get to know each other and accept all the facets of that person before you can consider it love.
This takes time, I don't believe in love at first sigh, now lust at first sight is a whole different matter.
If you're truly in love, good on you, but don't throw the word around too easy or early, it cheapens it.
