Re: What do ya think about Relationship distances?

I've done the "long distance" thing for over 6 months now and it's going swimmingly. Long distance for me is about 1000km's... gives us both a good excuse to get out and about and travel to all the balls around the place as a bit of a meeting point, we see each other about every three or four weeks for a weekend, every now and then we might get more than a weekend together, every relationship is different and you just have to take it as it comes.

Re: What do ya think about Relationship distances?

I thought I had already posted on here! seems I haven't.

I can blame Kiz for my long distance thingy. as with her it's 1000km. We've been seeing each other for about 4mths now and have managed to see each other at least every 2-3 weeks. It isn't easy but it is worth it. We plan to minimise the distance as soon as..

My last was a distance of 1500km. That was a disaster!

I don't think distance matters. If u r both willing to put in the effort then why not?

Re: What do ya think about Relationship distances?

I dont have a problem with seeing someone who lives a while away from me, I figure that where I live thats going to happen anyway! the only things that bother me are the fuel prices and basically keeping it equal, both people have to make the effort to travel otherwise you end up resenting the other person. (I actually moved to the UK to keep seeing someone, was there nearly 2 years, spending 8 weeks a year in good old Oz, that wasnt enough for me but he wouldnt consider more time here, so I stayed here and he went home! it has to go both ways)

Good luck to all of you in this situation
