whats happened to WA's BNS's?

well i made it to my first BNS on the weekend and im hooked on em....i loved it!! now i cant wait for the next one which i believe is inseminators in september...?

now im not completely sure but as far as i know they are the only 2 BNS's held each year left in WA.

my folks were right into BNS's and they have stories and stubby holders from BNS's in northampton(home town to me), Yallalong, Murchison and heaps of others. So what happened to them? is there not enough interest? too much hassle to organise? bad publicity?

i personally reckon there should be more. just wonderin what all other WA beaututers think and any info they had on why they all stopped.

Hey Teaks, yes i must admit there should be more, i would be there for sure. The eastern staters get way more bns balls than us! You will probably find that a lot of it has to do with the organisation....it takes a lot of money and hard work to organise a ball.
I think you will find that a good friend of mine would love to have a chat with you about your parents and their stories of old bns balls, she runs a bns website and is always looking for photos or stories of old balls.
If you are still comin to my place Friday for the convoy to Moora i will introduce you to her and she will help answer your questions about bns balls as its basically her life hahaha
There is currently a bns trying to be organised in Kalgoorlie for next year so fingers crossed that will happen and then we'll get 3 a year! woohoo still not enough i say, there should be way more than that as they are the best events of the year in WA
