What did you think of the security at Droughtbusters B&S?

I have to say that security guard number 1 is nothing but a smart arse bucket mouth piece of sh1t.

It all started when he grabbed me in a break-arm position and put me in a headlock to get me out of the ball. Then in the morning he refused me and my mate Chopper entry because of the incident last night. He also had the mouth to say that i wasn't at the ball because i took my wristband off when i went to bed.
However when he was fronted in the morning he denied his activities before he realised that he couldn't. He also refused me and Chopper entry to the toilets, breakfast and water tap supply.

yeh o6 was the same security were very rude and man handle alot of people that didnt need it i was only in the ball for about an hr before i went to bed alot of city boys starting shit as well yet its the country people that got thrown out not the ones starting shit very poor so i didnt go back

yeh i agree alot of em let it get to their head, had security crush my foot between the windscreen and drivers door of my ute whislt i was asleep parked out the front of my partners party.
security at a recent event were refusing to allow people to leave the bar 1/2 an hour before closing, yeh ok except the toilets are outside the bar. several blokes were threatened with arrest for pissing in the fence...aparently the wagin footy club are up for $50 000 in fines after the woolorama caberet this year for allowing the serving of intoxicated people, serving minors and serving after hours...serving after hours is BS, and the intoxicated people and minors is not the footy clubs problem, its the security company they hired that f**ked up.

Ok most Securiy Groups have little tags with numbers on the if u have the number ring the ppl that ogrinised the B&S and ske to speek to the head of security and tell them your sided of the events sournding what happened when i was running a major security group and my own i would not stand for such behaver of my guard do u know the name of the security group and i will see if i know them and who u might be able to speek to if u want to take if further. Also on the thing of allowing the serving of intoxicated people, serving minors and serving after hours... All my guards where put through a course called Responable services af achool(RSP) and Responable gameing

I have to admit there are alot of cowboys out ther in the security there are also some good ones i worked in the security game doing alot of big events is (bigday out,Jimmy barnns, AC/DC,meat loaf, Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi and many more) all of which i was the head of security and was also running all of the body guards i have on a few occanions had to remove ppl that way but there are better ways of doing it i preffer to talk the person out and have a joke with them like this come on mate u have a bit to drink lets go outsided and have a chat about how we can help u have a better night then once there outsided dont let them back in. It dose work

but as was asked what did u do to get that sort of treatment

Edit: would be more then willing to advise gorups that run B&S and any other events on security matters

Actually Security were really good if you weren't acting like a tool. They have to put up with a lot of S&%t and may get the wrong take on things.

I was really impressed with them, had a long chat with them before and after and they do both Droughties and Stonies in SA every year. There were a few new members on last night. Though no 1 is a top bloke and an experienced Ball security guard.

na id say unless ya local securtiy at both balls was bad i got plastered at stonnies but security thought that ment i was easy and when i told them about this guy (nicley drssed in a very expensive suit) who was hastling me he told me i should leave him alone and go to bed hmmm i was still standing, walking, talking and thought this was a bit mean of him lucky some nice country boys stood up for me and told this guy where to get off

I have had no trouble with security might be that im that old they know im harmless .Had a bit of a chuckle when fatboy put up his version of how to get an undesirable out. Most pissed people would be thinking yeah get me out side and beat the crap outa me .

lol Im a paid thug (bouncer) and i gonna take offence, mate if you aint worked on the door shut ur mouth, cos it aint always the easiest job, u never know when a drunk will pull a knife or a gun and believe me it does happen, I know we are always the bad dudes for spoiling the fun, but we got a job to do and that is to make a pub or a event safe, and we are allowed to use nessecary force, that means if u dont leave when asked we can cart u out, mmm most people leave when asked just some dont, and once asked to leave you arent allowed by law back in the premises for up to 24hrs.
