My favourite Aussie movies are Mad Max (All 3 of them), Running On Empty, Midnite Spares, The Castle, Crackerjack, The Nugget, Takeaway, The Dish, The Big Steal, BMX Bandits.

I'd have to go for 'The Castle' & 'Strange Bedfellows'. What is it with Michael Caton movies? He's not exactly gorgeous.

Cant go past any Aussie movie with Steven Curry he is a great actor. My favorite's are Takeaway, The Castle, Thunderstruck.

Love the classic Australian war flicks - Gallipoli and Breaker Morant. You just cant go past the some of the Aussie period dramas - things like Picnic at Hanging Rock or more recently Dirty Deeds.

If you like the Aussie comedies like Castle, Nugget, Takeaway, Crackerjack etc, then try to track down a film from the early 90s called Idiot Box. Some absolutely legendary lines in that one!
