The difference is that the Aust government does provide money, schooling, medical etc, unfortunately in alot of cases it does not get put to the uses it is intended for, alot of the parents are more interested in drinking it away (this goes for alot of white Aust families to - however they still do not get as much as Aboriginals). The children in countries that you see world vision supporting do not get any govt assistance. I agree that we should help our own first, but it is up to the parents to do the right thing by their kids first - i don't care who it is, colour, creed etc... We ALL need to take responsibility for our own actions and the care of our own families.

I grew up in Blackbutt Qld not far from Murgon etc Don't get me wrong i have nothing against Aboriginals, or any race for that matter, sum of my closest friends r. But the stuff u c in these towns, they hav brand new cars that they trash, houses that they literally pull apart, juz 2 b given a new 1, the latest in everything, juz because they ask 4 it, plus money on top, that they blow on grog! Not all, but alot do. I've seen fires lit in the middle of longerooms, brand new fridges thrown out in the yard & tied 2 the bak of cars & dragged down the road etc etc, it's appalling. hundreds of houses destroyed, juz coz they can b.
They run riot, coz they no they will get away with it. One of my best friend's father is part aboriginal, which gives her aboriginal blood, all her life she has recieved government subsidies, she now has 3 kids & seriously has no reason 2 work, because she receives that much from the government, i luv her 2 death, but she milks it 4 all its worth! She dusn't drink it away, but it's not spent on clothes 4 her kids, or food or saved 4 her kids education, doesn't need to b, she knows the gov will help if she needs em 2! oh yeh she is as white as, white blonde hair & so r her kids! I can truthfully say that she gets close 2 double wat a normal aussie in the same situation gets, plus all the other perks, like dental etc
Alot of the aboriginal community need 2 step up and take care of themselves b4 we help them, and stop having more and more unwanted children, just for the more money they will get!

Honestly go 4 a drive around the bak streets of somewhere like Charleville or Murgon, u will c wat i am talkin about! Derelict houses, torched cars, grog bottles everywhere, well dressed (nike, adidas etc) adults & grotty, malnourished kids.
Not to mention every second 12, 13, 14 yr old pregnant teenager that u will c, and it's not accidental! It's 4 money!
