OK, here is a bit of an update on the manji muster...
There will be a ute parade on the day of the muster...
we will be leaving the showgrounds and heading to the ampol on sth west highway, then from there, the parade will head up the main street of town and back down the otherside of the block, here we have two main streets...
This has been cleared, and will involve the vintage car club as well...they will lead the parade and we shall follow...
this parade will be happening around 10.00 am ish?...
At this stage i have not got the permits to fly our flags but will endeavour to get them so we can fly with all our glory...
The only thing i request is no hooning...as i have seen at the last event i went to, there was one, and at this event, i hope there will be none...99% of the ppl in utes are great, lets hope the odd one out dont ruin things...the local police are very supportive of this event, but they will impound anyones car that does this on the day, and that will mean they loose there entry and there vehicle for the night...
as for the rest of us, we shall have a ball and be welcome back...
This event is just the start of something wonderful(i Hope its a great success)...i have been discussing having another later during the year, so this showing is a predecessor to the future of utes in manji...
