| Re: Ban Bulls**t Before Bullbar's I had the same thing happen to me in my old ute. I was pulled over for my bullbar and got told the same reasons as you guys. I was also told that my aerial was a potential hazard. It could 'block' my view! What a joke.
Anyway, I was so wild because it was the 2nd time in a couple of months that I had been pulled over for the bar. I went to the RTA headquarters and asked to speak to the boss. He came out, saw the bullbar and told me that all the reasons why the Copper booked me was correct. He also said that there were heaps of other things the Copper could have booked me for so I should count myself lucky!! (Things like sharp edges on side skirts etc). I told him that the Police should be spending their time catching bad guys than pulling over innocent ute drivers! That didn't go down well......I was lucky he didn't give me what the Cops call a 'smart-ass' fine....
I say take off the bullbar, get it ticked off then put it straight back on again. That's what I did, and it worked ok!!!
