fair enough that the bridge cams may get confused, but i had 2 plates on my bull bar and i threw one on my dash at the deni muster in 2004.I had to go home 3 hours after i got there ( the boss is after all the BOSS ). on my way out heading back bendigo way i was pulled over by the police outside coles in deni! they charged me for 3 number plates at 70 per plate, including the one on my dash ( i explained that i didnt put there on purpous or anything, but they didnt believe me). they also charged me 175 per spottie on my rollbar (6 lights in all). then after all that they put me off the road for my bugflector on the bonnet, they told me that if it isnt a truck it doesnt need a bug flector.
i think safety rules are fairenuff but pickin on my number plate inside the vehicle is taking it a bit far. i passed about 50 utes on the way home and chatted with em, warned em to remove their lights and plates. i found out a week or so later that 85 people were charged on thurday night for the same thing. when does it stop ( or at least back down a bit )?
