I've been using a Pioneer AVIC S2 since December and have no real complaints. They retail for a decent chunk less than with alot of the same features as more the expensive Tom-Tom & NavMan's. Bluetooth enabled, text-to-speech, map upgrades (optional) every 12-18 months and only about $140 to upgrade them, over 10000 POI. MP3 player built in, removable memory card, and most importantly; accurate maps and street numbers!!

Only issue I've experienced is a few unexpected run errors in which event it switches off then back on and continues with the planned route. Overall a pretty solid little unit, good features like different transport methods, road/route avoidances and an easy to use interface.

AVIC - Pioneer Electronics Australia

(and no, I don't work for Pioneer!)
