 Bullbars are never gonna be banned, the only thing they can do which i think is fair is remove the sharp edges of a bullbar for example having fishing rod holders on the front of a bar, was a good idead when they came out.. The idea tht they have is if a person is hit they should eb able to roll onto the bonnet and up over the roof in need cases, if that happen there most likely dead anyways, or with a ute in the back. but if ppl paid attention to the road rules when in the city and peds didn't walk across roads infront on traffic and cross and the places marked which are safe there would be less of a problem. the problem behind bullbars is always going to be human error of the person hit or driving.
i live in the suburbs myself and the coppers look at me funny but i dont hoon, or drive through ped crossing fast infact i slow down coz most ppl wont cross when they see me coming anyways incase i do go through.....
we all just need to be careful when driving and peds stay to the marked places to cross roads.
