Some of these events had questionable judging, some had questionable results, some had judges winning, some had family members winning, one even had a ute that wasn't there win something. I just gotta say on this bit ash... I've seen "korumburra" n "family members winning" in the same post numerous times now, n I cant help but think that people are thinking that the two are connected... just in case, here's the truth... Sam Matthews, the organiser, I had met on about 4 occasions before the show, his wife, Louise Matthews, came 3rd in Chicks Ute. I had met Louise only once before, on the side of the road, when Sam was broken down. I was not a member of any ute club at the time of Korumburra ute show, nor was i thinking of joining any ute club. I was asked to judge Chicks Ute at Korumburra, and did judge all the utes in that category fairly. As for 1st and 2nd place chicks ute, I had met neither of the owners AT ALL before judging. All of the score sheets were tallied up my me, no score was changed on any of those sheets, and if a certain chick had of bothered to get out of her ute instead of letting her boyfriend tell me all about it, she would not have got a low score in the category "knowledge of ute" and a better score in that part alone would have won her the category and eliminated the organisers wife from the top three. Yes, I have seen extreemely unfair judging before, but people dont always know what they are talking about when they claim that a show is biased. Why waste time complaining about the judging? After all, isnt the ute show scene meant 2 b fun??? Ash, this is in no way directed at you mate. I am not saying that u were implying that i rigged the results, but i know that in other posts the writers were. I gotta add as well that Louise had nothing whatsoever to do with the organising or judging of Korumburra. |
