Yes, the ute scene is changing, new people with a different approach are soming in, some are leaving for various reasons and this will always be the case. There is something for everyone at every show if you are prepared to look at things with an open mind and appreciate modifications even if they are not to your own personal taste. The drunk element is about, although they aren't in the majority but have you been to any other event, car related or not when there isn't an idiot or two, I know I haven't. As for it dying I don't think so but it is hard for everyone to make some of the shows that are further out, mate $1.70 a litre for diesel isn't too friendly when you are going to travel 1000km or so round trip for a ute show, but some people do it if they can afford it to catch up with a few people and have a good time.
