amber red = sides (red facing back )
clear- white= forword facing
red= back
QLD and NT (i think) will not alow any other coulerd lights at all..
the ider is that some one can tell wethere your comming (by seeing the amber light) or going (by seeing the rec light )
and put them on a switch on it's own (WA coppers seem to hate utes with lights) this way you keep them off when around town and if they give you a hard time you can say there for show only and just keep a few entry forms from the shows you go to in the ute to prove you enter the ute ...
