but after entering in many categories we seem to notice a pattern in the judging
our friends and us would like some attention
we have unique utes with a lot of home made bits and pieces, we have put in a lot of money and afford.
we have been coming to musters for the last 3 years and loving it
I am not shy to splash the cash but you need to be more aware that it is easy to loose interest if you don't get recognised
we always enter in all categories, but when we see some people walk out with 4,5 or 6 trophies and lots of others empty handed it is hard to keep your chin up when you are 20 years old
if the judges could think of some way to aknowge new comers and utes with special features like home made modifications and ad-ons and try to give more trophies or ribbons to more utes this would encourage everyone ( a pissy little ribbon can mean a lot to a 20 year old)

In regards to what you have said, there are some shows that could do with some guide lines on judging, and I have seen lots in Victoria.

But I have to agree with a lot of others, go and enjoy yourself and when someone says nice ute mate you will get the biggest buzz. . .I know I do. .

if a prize comes your way well done. . . .If not look for other ways that will attract the winning vote. (displays, etc).
