It would be a great idea if we all meet up at the the Governer Road Reserve on the intersection of Rockingham Beach Road and Governer Road Rockingham / Kwinana.... easy to find, right on the beach front.

It is a small grassed park overlooking the beach, in the vicinity of the big blue Kwinana Grain Terminals ... they stand out like dogs balls, and we can all convoy to the Island via the main street of Rockingham and the Esplanade!

So everyone is too meet there at approximately 12pm Saturday 8th December 2007

Camp Markham will be fantastic place to spend the day, it is a beautiful little spot on Garden Island with plenty of shade and BBQ facilities, a great little beach with views of the surrounding metro area about 5kms from the mainland.

Also there is plenty of peace and quiet there, away from the crowds of people, it has a beautiful secluded beach where you can swim, snorkel and even chuck the line in for fishing, and maybe even chuck the crab nets or crab scoop net in if your keen... and we'll probably be the only people there.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

• LET ME KNOW ASAP YOUR DETAILS AS PER ABOVE, CAR REGO, FULL NAMES OF YOU, YOUR GUESTS
• NO CAMPING ALLOWED
• NO ANIMALS SUCH AS DOGS ALLOWED
• NO PRIVATE BOATS ARE ALLOWED ON THE ISLAND OR WITHIN A CERTAIN DISTANCE OF THE ISLAND
• BBQ GEAR, TONGS, PLATES, MEAT, SALAD, SAUCES ETC
• STUFF TO KEEP THE KIDS ENTERTAINED
• SWIMMING GEAR / SUNSCREEN / TOWEL / CHANGE OF CLOTHES MAYBE
• DRINKS / STUBBY COOLERS
• ESKY / ICE
• CAMERA
• INSECT REPELLENT
• TIGER SNAKE REPELLENT! (JOKE... BUT GARDEN ISLAND DOES HAVE A HUGE POPULATION OF TIGER SNAKES!)
